At the moment of consecration during the June 8th 2017 Diocesan Synodal Mass Holly Michael captured this extraordinary picture of the Sacred Host over the Chalice here at Corpus Christi Anglican Church in Rogers Arkansas. We have had hundreds, even in the thousands of Masses in our parish and never once witnessed something like this before. I know there will be some skeptics and disbelievers as to these kinds of blessings whether supernatural or caused by nature via the providence of God. But if you look closely and study the photo, what ever the cause, it is perfectly over the chalice and at the exact moment of the consecration . You can see what appears to be a heavenly host appeared directly over the chalice immediately after the words of consecration. I believe this to be a sign from God of His presence with us and in the Eucharist. I do not know how this happened. But I do believe it to be a sign from God of His very presence with us in the Holy Eucharist and in the midst of our parish.
Witnessed, written, and attested to by Fr. Jay Rice, priest at Corpus Christi Anglican Church on this tenth day of June, in the year of our Lord two thousand seventeen.
